I met my family in Nice a few weeks ago...and it was amazing! It was wonderful to get to see them. Its been awhile and i missed them. We stayed in Nice for a little over a week and I have decided i will someday live there. Its crazy beautiful and so historic. I mean these people are practically living in history...mideval castles that are just regular apartments now - mind blowing!!! While we didnt have too much time we did get enough done, and enough time to relax. We saw the boats at Antibes, checked out Monoco (weird weird place), lost money at the Monte Carlo, saw the aquarium museum (excellent, no doubt Main) went to a perfume factory (sort of), on my Dad's urging had gross pastisse drinks like old frenchman, made lots of good food, Timm got to show us the new ipod shuffle (he helped make them) made tourney brackets, GOT TO WATCH MARCH MADNESS, even stumbled upon the finish of the Paris-Nice cycling race and checked out the Team Astana bus (random) Lance wasnt there though. Seriously though, baguettes, sun dried tomatos, palm trees, Napolean everywhere, cobble stone streets, im so in.
