Local Celebs

Since we do all our training at schools in the community at schools we are in constant contact with lots and lots of kids. This is really great most of the time. It is so fun to go on breaks and play Frisbee or just talk with them (they are so enamored with Frisbee). As the culture is different we are sort of used to staring now and especially used to kids running by us screaming “HELLO, WHAT IS YOUR NAME?!” That is really all the English a lot of them know, so they say that, just that, and a lot. Some of the brazens ones will even barge into our classrooms. I have learned to say “im going to eat you” and that is my usual response to the really little ones, combined with running after them.
