This is me shoveling with a shovel made out of plywood. Also i am wearing an argyle sweater vest - it keeps my torso warm, and allows me two convienient frontal pouches to keep hard candies to pass out to small well-behaved children. This sweater vest was sent to me by my older brother Timm. He has a matching one. He is a great older brother that likes to do cute things like that (and was definitely not influenced or pressured to send me cookies and awesome packages by his girlfriend Caitlin)

A plywood shovel and an argyle sweater vest ... what will they think of next. We missed you a LOT at Jim's send off party Dave. But he is on his way. Dropped him off this morning at Detroit metro. He implemented a no crying rule at the airport rule but in all honesty it was still rough. Thanks for all the good advice you gave him on packing etc. Two outstanding young men you and Jim are.

I too am bummed i missed the send off. But i am sure we will have plenty more opportunities to share a drink - and hopefully even make it back up to paintball. I am really excited for Jimbo - and he is for sure gonna do great!! haha at least until some of us boys get to visit him and embarress him.
