The ones with the sorest throats have done the most singing

Lots to update but very little time. Also my internet at work has been out so its back to trips into the city to check the international network. Two weeks ago we finally hosted our youth business development seminar to culminate the grant project that was started almost a year ago. (It has been an embarrassingly long time i know, but thank you packages will be in the mail soon to all donors and supporters!!) This past week we hosted a day camp for kids in our villages that was an amazing success. Part of the college cirriculum here is the completion of a "practicum" which is essentially a month long internship. I recruited 5 girls from one of the colleges in Taraz and worked with them to organize this camp at our organization. I couldnt be more proud of them. They stepped up and delivered a dynamite camp for almost 40 kids. Today other Peace Corps cats start making their way to my village for baseball camp which starts tomorrow. Mitts have been oiled, Mustaches trimmed, and packages of longcut grape flavored Big League chew have been purchased. Prognosis: excellent. Ill report soon with pictures of all these goings on. Other than that...had another couch surfer last week. An enormous Swedish man named Stellen with the long golden locks of Thor. He is in the Christmas tree trade, and we talked for about 4 hours over some beers about everything related to Christmas trees - from the various types of seeds used around the world, to the already visible effects of global warming on the industry (interestingly enough, not all bad). Also celcius was invented in Sweden. BOOM. Hanblog lesson.
