one more thing...since i was on the internet for a minute i checked out this little clip i heard about. I wasnt part of making it, and wasnt sure what they were doing when i talked on it. Im not really sold on it - its sort of a little lame, insular and pretentious maybe, i dunno. But it gives sort of a video insight into the kazakh culture which i have not been able to do for this blog - so there it is. Also i am proud of my beard there. I have since shaved it, probably a mistake. So im sure its self explanatory but this was the traditional new years celebration where like 80 volunteers met up for a week.
